I am completely head-over-heels for the wedding of Hollin and Eric. They took their love of treehouses to a new level and decided to get married in one – so cute! All photos by the talented Ben Blood.

Maybe its my deep-suppressed love for breakfast foods – but I LOVE how they went all donuts and english muffins on everyone-such a new idea!

What woman doesn’t love shoes? One of the few articles of clothing that will always look good on you, no matter what you had for dinner, or whether or not your having a bad hair day or not. So I just have to share some of my favorites when it comes to your “wed-shoes.”

I feel like any semi-fashion forward gal dreams of wearing a pair of christian louboutin’s on her big day. Don’t they just make your heart stop for a minute? so lovely!

I love these adorable snake-printed ziper flats by Elizabeth and James for a bride who is uniquely her own and who go for a flat instead of a pump. Aren’t they fun and so different while keeping a certain femininity? love it.

And for all you cowgirls out there… Gotta love a pair of beat up ol’ boots ;-)

One of my good friends got engaged recently, and I’m happy to know I’ll be helping with the wedding. Oh and did I mention she’s the cutest cowgirl around? well she is, and she’s got the loveliest horses around. So of course I couldn’t help myself when I saw the adorable template for horsehoe favor tags on Martha Stewart Weddings. How cute!

I just had to share another great photographer, Leigh Miller, with you!

I will always stress the importance of having a great wedding photographer, not only because of my background in photography but because of some first hand experience with bad wedding photography. My sister had decided to go with a “friend” of the family as her photographer. Not only were the pictures horrendous and took almost 2 months to get back from him. On top of that, when she inquired about any sort of re-embursment for the horrible photos he threw a few rude words at her and refused to talk to her ever again.

Please, don’t let this happen to you!

Anyway, here are some beautiful photos by Leigh…

Indian weddings always intrigue me! The colors, the decoration, the food, the henna, the fashion, everything! Thats why I can’t help but share the one I came across on Gabriel Ryan’s blog.

All photos by the great Gabriel Ryan. And the great event was all pulled together by Oh How Charming!

I love love love a beautiful wedding invitation! Getting a colored envelope in the mail and my anticipating opening it and seeing a lovely card inviting me to one of my dear friends weddings. Maybe its because I love design, especially wedding design, but I automatically start envisioning what the wedding might be like just based off the invitation. Did I mention I love interesting wedding invitations?

There is this crazy idea though that they’ll only look nice if you order them and spend half your wedding budget on. I think that’s just silly. If you’re willing to be really creative, have a steady hand, and an eye for design then you’re set to go. It’s always a good idea to look at invitations you like already, even if they were custom-ordered and try to think of how you could do something similar on your own.

If you’ve ever worked with block-printing than you have a great start right there, hat will be completely unique and certainly all your own, just like Huricane Me’s recycled, handmade Invites.

If you’re looking for a something easier, why not go with rubber stamps, like hardaker and pope’s sister did? They’re simple and lovely and they tied the same design into embroidery the brides mother did on the linens for the wedding table.

Rubber stamps are so simple and so easy to use. One of my favorite company’s is Impress, they make lovely stamps and even give you some great ideas of how to use them for the invitations.

Ah Paris, the city of lights! How could you not be a little tempted to theme your wedding after one of the most romantic cities on our planet? The elegance of the city translates beautifully into a wedding, and the vintage city inspires such delicate items like a vintage strapless gown, and lovely wines.

Those great invitations areĀ  by Dio Selina Custom Designs.

Check out A Photographer in Paris’ Wedding’s in Paris.

You can always find adorable stamps to grace your invitations with on zazzle.

Head over to Oliver Lalin’s website are drool over his lovely photography are you consider for a moment eloping under the eiffel tower, before reminding yourself your mother and future monther-in-law would both kill you.

A Touch of Europe has great stationary and papers to use for decoration, including great Vintage Paris Postcards that would be great as a save the date!

I feel like I can’t talk about Paris and Weddings without giving a shout out to the fantastic American-in-Paris Wedding Planner, Kim Petyt, of Parisian Party.

Don’t you just love the look of this? hundreds of little butterflies hanging all over the place at your wedding. It would be so lovely at a winter wedding to add a bit of nature into the decor, despite the ground being covered in snow. With all the butterflies in your stomach, why wouldn’t you want to pin a few up?

I love blogs. I can spend hours and hours looking at blogs (especially wedding ones!) but if I had to choose a favorite blog I’ve come across so far it would have to be The Image is Found. The power couple, Nate and Jaclyn, along with fellow shooter, Michael Chan, are based in southern California and are pretty darn rad.

Maybe its because I went to art school and majored in photography for sometime, and blew all the money I had saved for a car on a camera as a young teen and photography will always hold a place in my heart, but I am uber obsessed with these guys! I feel like every wedding they’ve ever photographed is magazine worthy! They’re a really great example of how you don’t want to skimp when it comes to your wedding photographer.

05120121The photos are clean and fresh! They capture all of the moments you want and use those creative minds to make those moments into ones you’ll surely never, ever forget.

They also do this thing called “crazy-booth” portraits at weddings. They are so great and always so funny! I love every single one!

Needless to say, I adore them and want them at my wedding, even if they are all the way in California!

Please check out their website which is entertaining in itself, and their blog!
